Geeta Citygirl is an actor, director, producer, writer and daily practitioner of offering loving light in the spirit of uplifting, connecting and healing through the arts – from the private to the public.

She is a native New Yorker, parent, and an activist for all living beings and is grateful for this opportunity to serve the Westbury community. Her mission as a creative spirit and proud gay parent, is always to honor art as a catalyst for change, in every arena – from the political to the spiritual.

Citygirl has served as a team member of Westbury Arts Summer Camp and along with her daughter, Avana Grace, founded the City Kindness Crew as a vehicle through which they volunteer time and energies to various causes they are passionate about. Citygirl’s career credits span a dissimilar array of thematic elements and inspired energies from the stage to the screen. She is Co-founder & Artistic Director of SALAAM Theatre (first South Asian American theatre company). She is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and City College of New York and is a proud union member of SAG-AFTRA, Actors Equity Association (AEA).
