DESCRIPTION:Join us for our next paint and sip\, Westbury Arts Paint Night: Penguins! Get ready to unleash your artistic side as we paint these exquisite birds together. This in-person event will take place on Thursday\, November 16\, 2023 at 255 Schenck Ave\, Westbury\, NY 11590. \nPenguins! These charming creatures are a fascinating subject. The black and white “tuxedo” look donned by most penguin species is a clever camouflage called countershading. In this class\, you’ll learn to paint your own “waddle” of penguins. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a beginner\, this event is perfect for everyone. \nDuring the event\, you’ll have the opportunity to learn different painting techniques and create your own masterpiece. Our experienced instructor\, artist Loren Faragasso\, will guide you through the process of capturing these delightful birds on canvas\, providing helpful tips and tricks along the way. \nDon’t worry about bringing any art supplies – we’ve got you covered. All materials\, including canvases\, brushes\, aprons\, and paints\, will be provided. Just bring your enthusiasm and creativity! So grab your friends and join us for an unforgettable night of art\, wine and fun. \nClass fee is $30 (plus Eventbrite fee) for Westbury Arts Members with promo code or $35 (plus Eventbrite fee) for non-members.
