DESCRIPTION:Westbury Arts\, in collaboration with the Westbury Senior Center\, presents “Seasoned Citizens: An Exhibition of Artwork by Artists Over 60\,” in celebration of Older Americans Month. This exhibition features artwork by members of the Westbury Senior Center and Westbury Arts\, as well as other local artists over 60. \nTogether with the Senior Center\, Westbury Arts called for artwork that celebrates the connections and life experiences of our “Seasoned Citizens” or that simply showcases their artistic vision. Tonight’s exhibition illustrates the variety of ways they answered our call. \nCome join us at Westbury Arts on Sunday\, April 28\, 2024\, at 2:00 PM for a celebration of art created by our talented “seasoned” artists. Explore a diverse collection of paintings\, photographs\, and more\, all showcasing the creativity and wisdom of our “Seasoned Citizens.” The event will also feature a special performance by the Senior Center singing group\, The Harmonaires. \nMeet the artists\, enjoy light refreshments\, and immerse yourself in the beauty of their work. Don’t miss this opportunity to support our local senior artists and be inspired by their unique perspectives. \nWe can’t wait to see you there!
