SUMMARY:Paige Patterson | Free In-Person Concert
DESCRIPTION:Come and enjoy Westbury Arts’ FREE Summer Concert Series featuring Soul and Blues singer Paige Patterson! \nPaige Patterson’s music is designed to engage an audience by reviving memories of a “bygone era” and restoring one’s faith in the power of music. Her genre ranges from Sinatra to Santana\, to 70’s rock\, classic soul\, Broadway\, and singing in foreign languages. \nShe has performed in NY at the Apollo\, Metropolitan Room\, and the University Club just to name a few. On Long Island\, she was a staple at the Cinema Arts\, Carlton\, and Terme. Huntington Arts Council awarded her a concert in Heckscher Park. \nMost importantly\, her concerts are audience driven. See you there! \nParking is free after 6:00 PM in the Westbury Village lot behind Rite Aid. \nRSVP for free on Eventbrite to receive weather-related updates and to help us anticipate attendance numbers. When he showed up for jam sessions at the Chicago Blues Club wearing a tux and hat\, the jam co-host would yell\, “It’s Hitman Russ!” When Russell finally got a chance to build his dream project\, it could only be called The Hitman Blues Band. \n7 albums and countless tours later\, thousands of fans confirm it was the right choice. \nThis is a great opportunity to unwind and enjoy a summer evening with friends and family. SUMMARY:Art of Music Concert Series: A Night of Art & Jazz with Tom Cabrera & Friends
DESCRIPTION:Westbury Arts invites you to an evening of art and jazz music featuring Tom Cabrera and Friends. \nDrummer and percussionist Tom Cabrera graces the recordings and bandstands of so many creative ensembles\, but for his own trio he enlisted virtuoso pianist Bob Rodriguez and double-bass master Lou Pappas in dynamic\, moving performances of the music of composer Jack DeSalvo. For this performance he adds the composer on guitar. \nTom Cabrera and Friends brings together a group of musicians\, all of whom record for Unseen Rain Records\, and who will be playing the original jazz compositions of Jack DeSalvo.  This is a unique opportunity to enjoy the artwork of Tom Cabrera and Jack DeSalvo which is displayed in our gallery and also enjoy this fantastic musical performance. \nTickets are free for General Admission or $10 (plus Eventbrite fee) for reserved seating. \nAmple free parking is available in the municipal lot across the street from 255 Schenck Ave. on weekdays after 6:00 PM and all day on Saturday and Sunday.
