SUMMARY:LICP Small Works Show at b.j. spoke
DESCRIPTION:featuring Westbury Arts member artist Susan Tiffen\nExhibition Dates: July 3-28\, 2024 \nOpening Reception: July 7\, from 2-4 PM \n  \nIn July b j spoke gallery will host an exhibition of photographs by members of the Long Island Center of Photography. \nIn the words of Marc Josloff\, the president:  They say “Less is More\,” yet in a typical art show many artists seem to feel that “bigger is better” and the “WOW Factor” reigns supreme. This exhibition sets out to prove the opposite…that “SMALL” has a simplicity and poignancy that is more intimate and engaging to the viewer\, drawing one in for a closer look. When well-perceived and crafted\, “SMALL” holds you\, in place\, for a concentrated gaze. Come see for yourself. \nThe 15 Photographic artists:\nLinda Abrams\, Tom D’Emic\, Judith Feinman\, Marc Josloff\, Carolyn Karsten\, Seymour Levy\, Dick Lopez\, Diane Luger\, John Michaels\, Joseph Neumayer\, Howie Pohl\, Susan Silkowitz\, Alan Stein\, Susan Tiffen and Joan Weiss. \nThe Long Island Center of Photography\, founded 1997\nMarc Josloff President\, mjoslo4@verizon.net\nwww.licenterofphotography.com
