This Play Was Never About Noses. An ensemble-driven, world premiere adaptation of Cyrano de Bergerac from Morgan Moffitt. Free tickets with a refundable reservation.

One of theatre’s most famous love triangles: a swordsman with a sharp tongue, a sweet if slow-witted soldier, and a woman searching for poetry in her life. Westbury Arts in collaboration with EastLine Theater presents the world premiere of This Play Was Never About Noses by Long Island playwright Morgan Moffitt this March. This ensemble-driven adaptation of the classic Cyrano de Bergerac will begin performances at the new Westbury performance space in March.

This production is part of EastLine’s Theatre for All initiative.Ticket reservations are $20 per seat. These reservations are refundable, in cash, following each performance. Attendees must show proof of vaccination and will be required to remain masked throughout the performance.

Performance Dates: Saturdays: March 12, 19, 26 7:30 pm; Fridays: March 18 & 25 7:30 pm; Sundays: March 13, 20, 27 3:00 pm.

Performances of This Play Was Never About Noses will begin promptly at the listed time. All attendees must arrive by fifteen minutes prior to the performance or their tickets may be released to a waiting list. If you are unable to attend please call us at 516-749-5047. Performances have very limited seating and we would like to accommodate as many audience members as would like to attend. All seating is general admission. Refunds of $20 cash per seat only, will be made in-person, following each performance.

Ticketing fees are non-refundable. After each performance, refundable reservation fees may be turned into a tax-deductible donation upon the patron’s request. This event is made possible through the support of Westbury Arts, the Huntington Arts Council, and the First Presbyterian Church of Babylon.

The performance space at Westbury Arts is located in the basement and can be reached via elevator. Step-free access to the building is available from the back parking lot. The world premiere of This Play Was Never About Noses is adapted and directed by Morgan Moffitt, presented by EastLine Theatre in partnership with Westbury Arts, with stage management by Julianna Frasca.
