My body, my dress is a painting workshop aimed at women. This workshop combines art and conversation as the women who attend reflect on their views of body image based on their culture and the media. This workshop will allow participants to view body image with creativity and curiosity which will generate points of reflection and promote the sharing of stories and bonding expressed through the enjoyment of painting and drawing. You must be over 17 years of age to attend. The workshop will be bilingual, English/Spanish.
Mi cuerpo, mi vestido es un taller de pintura dirigido a mujeres. Este taller combina arte y conversación mientras las mujeres que asisten reflexionan sobre sus puntos de vista sobre la imagen corporal en función de su cultura y los medios. Este taller permitirá a los participantes visualizar la imagen corporal con creatividad y curiosidad lo que generará puntos de reflexión y promoverá el compartir historias y vínculos expresados a través del disfrute de la pintura y el dibujo. Debes ser mayor de 17 años para asistir. El taller será bilingüe, inglés/español.
