Digital Communications Intern
Westbury Arts is seeking a Digital Communications Intern to assist with the management of the organization’s online media channels including social media accounts, website, and blog. The ideal candidate is adept at creating and curating relevant digital content that resonates with Westbury Arts’ various online communities while adhering to brand standards.
- Management of the organization’s editorial calendar
- Drafting content for social media, e-newsletters, website, and blog
- Monitoring social media accounts and cultivating relationships with key influencers
- Attending monthly publicity and marketing committee meetings
The Digital Communications Intern will gain experience with project management, email marketing, and constituent relationship management (CRM) tools.
Experience with Google Apps, Salesforce, and Adobe Photoshop a plus.
This is a virtual internship. The Digital Communications Intern would be expected to work from home and communicate with Westbury Arts representatives via email and phone. In addition to monthly publicity and marketing committee meetings, intern would be encouraged to attend other meetings (committees, board meetings, general meetings, events) in order to gain information and insights about the organization. This internship is unpaid.
