Connie Locascio

Assistant Treasurer, Founding Member

Connie grew up in Corona, N.Y. during the 50’s and moved to Westbury in 1968, not knowing anyone. She felt an immediate connection to the community, which is where she raised her two sons.

Connie enrolled at Nassau Community College at night, working a full-time job and life marched on. She’s always been interested in the community of Westbury and wanted to take on a larger role in its growth. Connie became Director of the Westbury Chamber of Commerce in Westbury and one of the founding fathers of The BID (Business Improvement District).

She then ran for a seat as a school board trustee for the Westbury Union Free School District, which she held for 12 years. Connie’s love and commitment to this community will always be her passion, and she is continuing her effort as a board member of Westbury Arts, which is such an exciting and vital organization.
