Mike has been a member of the CUNY (City University of NY) Theatre faculty since 1993, teaching various courses in Performance and Media.

An experienced theatre practitioner, Mike has worked as actor, director, stage manager and sound designer. He studied acting with F. Murray Abraham while earning his MFA from Brooklyn College. In addition to the Greater Westbury Arts Council, Mike also sits on the board of the Long Island Music Hall of Fame’s Education Committee and the Gilbert and Sullivan Yiddish Light Opera Company.

He is a noted scholar of baseball uniform history; having been cited in several books and publications. Mike continues to seek out work as an actor, not only to continue to grow as an artist but as a means to inform his teaching work.
