Black History Month Celebration

Moving Forward with vision – celebrating our culture through rhythm and voice.

Westbury Arts’ 2020 Black History Celebration event will be a forum to educate and entertain our audience of Black History/Culture.

Join us for a celebration featuring: performance by the award winning Uniondale High School “Rhythm of the Knight” show choir plus Liturgical Dancing, African Dancing, ‘Stepping’, Spoken Word, Storytelling , Singing and Giveaways.
The 2020 Black History Month Celebration will be the fourth annual event sponsored by Westbury Arts.
This year it will be co-sponsored in collaboration with the Westbury Church of the Advent and the public is cordially invited. Admission is free but Registration on Eventbrite is required.
This event is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and administered by The Huntington Arts Council.
