Fall is upon us! It’s been a wonderful summer and Westbury Arts has enjoyed another great season. We’ve had a fantastic Summer Concert Series, our 8th Annual Short Film Concert and, in collaboration with the Village of Westbury Recreation Dept., an extremely successful Summer Arts Camp! Whew!
It’s been busy and we’ve loved every minute of it. We’ve got some big plans for the fall and winter including the Hispanic Heritage Celebration, the opening of our Estados Unidos exhibit at the Yes We Can Center (opening reception on Tuesday 9/24 from 6-8 pm) and the first Westbury Arts Costume Ball fundraiser at Westbury Manor on October 29.
Please join us for our General Membership meeting on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the Westbury Senior Center in the Main Room. Pre-meeting social starts at 7:00, meeting at 7:30. We’ll talk about all of the great stuff we have coming up and have some fun dreaming up ideas for the perfect costume for the ball. Also, we’ll be sharing news about Westbury Arts new home at 255 Schenck Ave.
