Board Director
Dana Boylan and her family have lived in Westbury Village since 2002, and she has served her community in a number of respects including as an Alternate Member of the Village’s Zoning Board of Appeals and as a past officer of the Westbury Arts Council.
Ms. Boylan is a former Nassau County Assistant District Attorney, who served Nassau County’s residents under three successive District Attorneys – Dennis Dillon, Kathleen Rice, and Madeline Singas – from 2005 to 2018. She then went on to serve as Director of Youth Services for Nassau County. She currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Department of Human Services in Suffolk County.
Ms. Boylan received her law degree from Fordham University Law School and her undergraduate degree from St. John’s University. In addition to her community and government service, Ms. Boylan has been a member of the board of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association, the NYS Association of Youth Bureaus, the United Way of L. I., Alpha Kappa Alpha, Incorporated Pi Pi Omega Chapter, Jack and Jill of Nassau County, Past President of the Sherwood Gardens Civic Association, and participated in the formation of the Nassau Bar Association Westbury Middle School Mentoring Program and other philanthropic, professional and community organizations.
