Paul is a Westbury resident who, as a single dad of three children in the Carle Place School District (CPSD), was actively involved in the CPSD’s Parent Teacher Associations, having served as treasurer of the Cherry Lane School PTA, as president of both the Rushmore Elementary School PTA and the Carle Place Middle/High School PTSA, and on the executive board of the CPSD PTA Council, for about a decade.

Paul also taught an elementary school environmental science course for the CPSD. Prior to residing in the Westbury area, Paul was a lifelong resident of New England having volunteered in multiple communities in which he had lived, including as a big brother for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.

By career, Paul is a consulting engineer in the energy industry, where he has supported the development of hundreds of energy projects, such as wind farms, solar farms, and many other types of power plants. Paul is a licensed professional engineer with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in engineering and an executive MBA certificate. Artistically, Paul has been a photographer since his teens and has done a variety of personal, volunteer, and commercial photography, including NCAA women’s collegiate rowing. Recreationally, Paul is an avid home cook – he has authored an Italian cookbook – and he is a hiker, walker, runner, bicyclist, and sailor. When Paul is not spending time with his three children – his passion – or with family and friends, he is likely taking an 8-mile walk around Eisenhower Park, bicycling to Jones Beach, experimenting in the kitchen, reading, listening to music, or streaming movies.
