Rocco Lanzilotta
Co-Vice President, Founding Member
Born and raised in Westbury, Rocco has always been involved with the community. He has been President (twice) for the Order Sons & Daughters in America Donatello Lodge, Saint Anthony Society of Westbury, Past Westbury School Board Trustee among several other affiliations.
We quickly went to work, and Westbury Arts was formed. Rocco was a founding member and elected as Westbury Arts’ first president. Rocco brings his professional skills to the Board. With close to twenty years of creative experience as Vice President of Creative Marketing for Columbia Records, he brings his marketing, creative and organizational expertise for the benefit of the organization. He is also a certified Life Coach and a qualified Leadership, Business Developer and Training Facilitator.
He has a strong belief that the arts can change the world, one piece at a time and his favorite quote is attributed to Georgia O’Keefe: “To create one’s own world takes courage.” He believes that we all must have the courage to create a better world, as we see it, through the lens of art.
