Once again, we’re turning Westbury Arts’ gallery into a NYC style jazz club. For this, our second endeavor, we bring you The Chris Forbes Trio following the September 13, 2024 release of his latest Unseen Rain recording Semjase. Pianist Chris Forbes is joined by Dmitry Ishenko on double bass and Tom Cabrera on drums. This ensemble will bring to Westbury Arts a heady mix of jazz standards, original compositions and freely improvised jazz that promises to offer both white hot creativity and stone cold grooves. Nana’s Cafe will be on hand to provide cocktails and beverages for the event.
