Mala Waldron’s music is a mixture of soul and jazz delivered with aplomb. She is described as soulful and accomplished. She tells riveting stories, singing with a perfectly shaded mixture of power and melancholic sensitivity.
Mala Waldron’s music career as a vocalist, pianist and composer has taken her all over the world performing in Japan, France, Italy, Belgium, Italy, Belarus and Russia. She has performed on some of NYC’s most prestigious stages, including the Iridium Jazz Club, the Blue Note, the Jazz Standard, the 55 Bar, Brooklyn’s BAM Cafe, and most recently in Washington DC at the Kennedy Center (Millennium Stage.)
