The worlds of East and West join in a fusion of classical music on voice and piano
Join us for an enchanting evening of Indo-Western Classical Fusion Music. This unique event blends the soulful melodies of the East with the harmonious tunes of the West, creating a mesmerizing musical experience like no other.
Get ready to be transported to a world where traditional Indian ragas meet the elegance of Western classical compositions. This unique, world classical fusion music production by “The Alchemists,” featuring Indian Classical Music vocalist Dr. Rohini B. Ramanathan accompanied by Ms. Carol Goodwin on the piano. They will showcase their extraordinary talent, weaving together the rich cultural heritage of both worlds by presenting celebrated 20th-century American female composers in a new light, tracing the Indian Ragas (Scales) in their compositions and employing these scales in setting lyrical poems penned by the vocalist to music.
