Westbury Arts Paint & Sip Night: Black is Also a Color

July 19 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Join us for a fun evening at Westbury Arts where you can unleash your creativity with artist instructor Rosalba Henao!

It’s time for another exciting evening of creativity and fun at Westbury Arts! Get ready to unleash your inner artist on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 7:00 pm.

This month we will explore the beauty of the color black and learn about sumi-e Japanese ink painting. The Japanese art of sumi-e, charcoal ink painting, explores the infinite range of shades between black and white by dissolving sumi (charcoal) ink with differing amounts of water and by painting with a variety of brushes. Our talented instructor, Rosalba Henao, will guide you step-by-step as you create your own sumi-e ink masterpiece. Whether you’re a seasoned painter or a beginner, this event is suitable for all skill levels. So, don’t worry if you’ve never held a paintbrush before! Immerse yourself in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, surrounded by like-minded individuals. Discover new painting techniques, exchange ideas, and enjoy the company of fellow art lovers.

We provide all the necessary art supplies, so you can simply show up and let your creativity flow. Don’t worry about making mistakes; at Westbury Arts Paint & Sip Night, it’s all about having a good time and expressing yourself.

Spaces are limited and our Paint Nights frequently sell out, so make sure to reserve your spot today.
