Westbury Arts is accepting proposals for our Workshop Series. Artists are invited to submit proposals for workshops on visual arts, crafts, and performing arts. We encourage you to submit multiple workshops for consideration Proposals from teaching artists who are members in good standing of Westbury Arts will have priority for consideration.

Workshops will be held in the Westbury Recreation Center Room #1 with a maximum of 20 students. Workshops should be designed for adult students, 18 years old and older. We are not accepting proposals for children’s workshops at this time. Please indicate how many adult students you are willing to teach. Currently we are only considering workshops taught on a single day of either 2 or 3 hours in length. You should also indicate preferred day/date for your workshop. Westbury Arts staff will determine the minimum number of students in each workshop based on cost and reserve the right to cancel a workshop without sufficient students to defray costs.

Instructors will receive $50/hour for proposed workshop. In the case of group or co-instructors each instructor will receive $50 per hour. Please include information about additional instructors in the Instructor Bio section. Bear in mind that we will take the cost of instruction into consideration when reviewing the proposed workshop.

Please submit a separate form for each workshop proposal and retain a copy for yourself.
