Westbury Arts Black History Month Exhibition: Strength Through Creativity

This is an exhibit that will celebrate Black History Month with artworks created by African American artists. This exhibit will feature artworks by the Long Island Black Artists and friends. Two- or three-dimensional work displaying a variety of mediums, styles and themes will be shown. Artists 18 or older can submit up to two original works of art not larger than 24’in width and 36’in length, including frames, and not previously shown at Westbury Arts. The artwork must be family-friendly and approved by the Westbury Arts Exhibition Committee. All decisions are final. There will be a hanging fee of $30 (members) or $35 ( nonmembers) for accepted artwork.

Notice of acceptance- January 14, 2026
Art Drop off – January 17. 2026
Artist Reception- January 24, 2026 (2- 4pm)
Closing Gathering – March 6, 2026 (3:30 – 5:30)
