Estamos Unidos, an exhibit curated by Westbury Arts, seeks to celebrate the artistic and creative expression of Hispanic artists on Long Island. The exhibition will be on view from September 22 – October 19, 2019. An opening reception will be held on September 24 from 6 – 8pm.

Artists may submit up to two (2) original works for consideration. Original works must be no smaller than 11” x 14” and no larger than 36” x 48”. Sculptures and 3 dimensional work must be no larger than 24” wide and 36” high. All two-dimensional work must be wired and ready to hang, no sawtooth hangers, please. Sculptures and three-dimensional work must be able to stand on their own. Artwork that does not adhere to these requirements will not be exhibited.

Deadline for submissions is midnight, August 24.

Up to two (2) submissions permitted per artist.

Non-members: $15
Westbury Arts members in good standing: Free*

Important Dates

Please be advised that artists are responsible for delivering work and picking up work at the Yes We Can Community Center (141 Garden St, Westbury, NY). All accepted work must remain on site for the duration of the exhibit.

Drop off date for all accepted artwork:
September 21 from 11am – 4pm

Exhibit will be on display: 9/22- 10/19

Pick up date for all artwork: 10/19 time TBA

Opening Reception date: 9/24 from 6pm – 8pm
