Call For Artists: Wearable Art

“Art is not limited to gallery walls. See it, wear it, live it!”

The Huntington Arts Council invites artists to participate in Wearable Art. Entries should meet at the intersection of fashion and fine art through design, costume, or culture. Submissions should be representative of the creative inspiration found in garments, accessories (art jewelry, masks, bags, etc.), and representational work (design boards, performance images, etc.) Items should be either modified or created from scratch.

Follow Anne Albano:
Anne has lived in Westbury for 50 years. She is a former teacher, an avid quilter, painter, needle worker, and actress/singer. Anne is a former member of St. Brigid Choir under the direction of Joseph Cangelosi. Also, Anne participated in the St. Brigid Youth’s theater productions as both a performer and director.
