Join us for the opening event of A Family of Women, a month long celebration of the experiences that connect us as women and create a family that transcends all boundaries. The exhibition features works by three artists who explore the relationships and histories of their own family of women. Each artist will share a brief story/memory related to the subjects in their work on display and take questions. An open mic will follow, where audience members can share a memory or story of a special woman in their life.

The exhibition will be on display at the Long Island Writer’s House from March 6 through March 12.
