Recap: Nonstop to Cairo August 30 Concert

The August 30 event featured a mix of ska, funk, and hip hop.

Westbury Arts wrapped up its 2018 Summer Arts & Concert Series with Nonstop to Cairo on Thursday, August 30. The event attracted over 100 attendees to the Piazza Ernesto Strada. It was the last in a series of 10 free outdoor concerts to take place in the Village of Westbury this Summer.

Nonstop to Cairo has completed their debut album, Dabble Heavy; recorded with their good friend and producer Tom Stiegler of Blokhed Studios. Together they were dedicated bringing a classic album to their fans and the world at large. The album has been a two year process of refining their sound to capture the full essence of who they are as a band and the message they want to convey.

The quintet of childhood and longtime friends are ready to elevate their career to the next level through the power of music. Whether, on record or attending a live show, Nonstop to Cairo is a guaranteed exceptional music experience for the listener and they invite anyone who will hear them to grab hold and enjoy the adventure.

The Westbury Arts Summer Arts & Concert Series took place every Thursday night from June 28 through August 30 in the Piazza Ernesto Strada in Westbury, NY.
