Westbury Arts is thrilled to announce it will be offering fine arts workshops for adults beginning in January 2018. Classes will be offered in a variety of genres including jewelry-making, ceramics, painting, drawing, songwriting, jazz improvisation, 3D art, illustrating with narrative, and more. Westbury Arts is drawing upon its talented member artists and instructors to lead classes that will be offered at a variety of skill levels, from beginner to advanced. A full list of workshops is available at www.westburyarts.org/workshops.

“Westbury Arts is proud to offer our first of what will be an ongoing series of fine arts workshops designed to allow adults at all skill levels to explore their inner artist,” said Julie Lyon, Westbury Arts Board President. “At Westbury Arts, we want everyone to be able to explore their artistic side! Through our workshops, both beginner and advanced students have the opportunity to explore new artistic mediums and techniques.” The first series of classes will take place between January and April 2018 with more classes slated for later in the year. Classes are for adults 18 and over.

The Westbury Arts 2018 Workshop Series will kick off at the organization’s General Meeting on January 17 with a “Watch Me Work-Shop,” where members and prospective students can come and meet the instructors, watch them work, and get a hands-on taste of the classes offered.
