Call for Artists: 2D and 3D media inspired by…shoes!

Westbury Arts is inviting artists working in 2D and 3D media to submit to a curated, thematic group exhibition dedicated to artworks inspired by SHOES. The exhibit, entitled “Below the Knee” , will focus on footwear in all its amazingly varied shapes and forms. New, original work created for this exhibit as well as pre-existing original work will be considered.

Accepted works will be exhibited in the display windows of The Bootery, a fine leather footwear and repair shop located on Post Avenue in Westbury, NY. This is a busy shop with a great carriage trade. In addition, the windows will be visible to the considerable traffic that passes daily on Post Avenue. The Westbury Arts exhibit will result in a fresh look for this store that only artists can provide. If you would like your artwork to be available for purchase, please provide price and contact information on a separate card at drop off. Potential buyers will be instructed to contact the artists directly. The Bootery will not be able to broker any purchase of artwork.
Westbury Arts will receive 20% commission on all sales of artwork.
