Join us on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 7pm for an evening of music and art at the Piazza Ernesto Strada in the Village of Westbury!
Paint Night in the Piazza!
Sponsored by Rowan Realty
The Greater Westbury Council for the Arts invites you to paint to the music! No prior painting experience necessary. The Westbury Arts Council will have 12 seats available for painters. Your $20 donation ($15 for Westbury Arts members) includes use of our easel, canvas, paint, apron and you get to take home your masterpiece. Artist/Instructor Patty Eljaiek will be on hand to advise and instruct. Artists who have their own supplies are invited to bring their own easels and join us for this interactive “paint to the music” experience. And if you’re a music lover not a painter, please plan bring your chair and enjoy the show.
Save It 4 Later
Established in 2011, Save It 4 Later has been a classic rock cover band for most of its existence. Now composing their own music, the current members: John Dennehy, Jess Winter, Tommy Scardino, and Adam Christel have been together since 2013 and have been rocking Long Island ever since. The band has a steady following of classic rock enthusiasts on Long Island and, recently, in Rockland County. The band frequently plays bars and private parties as well as fundraisers.
The 2016 Westbury Summer Arts & Concert Series is made possible in part with funds from the Decentralization Program, a re-grant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and is administered by The Huntington Arts Council, Inc.
The 2016 Westbury Summer Arts and Concert Series is sponsored by the Incorporated Village of Westbury and the Greater Westbury Council for the Arts.
